Bass player, composer and educator born in Monopoli (South of Italy), Angiuli started studying music at the age of five passing from oboe to the piano and the electric bass and finally he chosed the double bass at the age of sixteen.
He  graduated cum laude both in classical double bass in Italy and in Jazz at the Royal Conservatorie of Den Haag (The Netherlands).
Form the late ’90 he is really active in the International jazz and avant-garde scene. Played among others with: Wynton Marsalis, Benny Golson, Scott Hamilton, Jim McNelly, Teddy Charles, Toninho Horta, Billy Harper, Steve Grossman, Joe Magnarelli, Andy Sheppard, Philip Harper, Evan Parker, Seamus Blake, Newman Taylor Baker, Jack Walrath, Billy Hart, Victor Lewis, Kevin Mahogany, Jim Rotondi, Tommy Smith, Deena De Rose, John Betsch, Ernst Rejejseger, Keith Tippet, John Escreet, Louis Moholo, Deborah Brown, Dusko Goykovich, Stjepko Gut, Makoto Kurya, Piotr Wojtasik, Paolo Fresu, Fabrizio Bosso, Javier Girotto, Rita Marcotulli, Rosario Giuliani, Stefano Di Battista, and many more.
